Travels
to the Far Reaches of the Globe
This section will be used to display some images of far away
countires I've visited. For now, I'll stick to this single image
of your's truly touching the Taj Mahal, the Taj Mahal itself
and a bit of poetry I wrote while visiting.
Agra
Haze swirls across the Yamuna
Small towers disappear from sight
Children play along the river
Pushing lights out on the water
Above the red walls
The Taj blushes in the sunrise

A couple of
years earlier I visited Egypt. Whlle there I travelled from
Cairo to Aswan and back up again, passing places like Edfu and
Luxor. There was a short sojourn in the Sinai Desert, before
I returned again to Cairo.

Two years
ago I was lucky enough to travel part of China and Tibet. In
a very small group, only 8 people and a guide, we started out
in Beijing, visited Xi'an, Chengdu, Tibet (Lhasa, Shigatse,
and Gyantse), Lijiang, Dali, Kunming, Yangshuo, Guangzhou and
finally Hongkong.
